WISE 2026 - Program

Dear all,
By following the link to the WISE 2026 page

https://sites.google.com/view/wise2026/program?authuser=0

you can find the conference program.

All participants are kindly requested to verify that their contribution (including the authors’ names and the title) is correctly reported and spelled. Please contact me if you notice any discrepancies with your original submission.

For those who will not participate in person, a link for remote access (view-only, with audio) will be shared before the conference starts

Some points that I’d like to bring your attention to:

  • Talks are organized into sessions that are as homogeneous as possible. The first presenter in each session is allocated a longer slot (25 minutes plus 5 minutes for Q&A) to provide an overview of the session topic. The remaining talks follow a 20‑minute schedule, with 17 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A. On Monday, 11 May, there will be two shorter sessions, in which the first presenter will be allocated 25 minutes (21 minutes for the presentation plus 4 minutes for Q&A). The first presenter is kindly requested to chair and moderate the discussion throughout the session.

  • Posters will be displayed throughout the entire conference; there will be no lightning poster presentations.

  • By the start of the conference, a book of abstracts will be prepared and shared with the WISE community.

  • The icebreaker will be hosted at ISMAR on Sunday, 10 May, starting at 6:00 PM.

  • Coffee and tea breaks, lunches, and the social dinner are included in the registration fee.

  • Please plan to attend the dedicated conference events on the afternoon and evening of May 12 at the San Giorgio Island, and on the evening of May 13 at the Chiesa dei Miracoli.

  • Navigating Venice and reaching ISMAR can be challenging; therefore, please review the access instructions in advance: https://sites.google.com/view/wise2026/location?authuser=0

We look forward to meeting all participants in Venice.

On behalf of the WISE 2026 Organizing Committee,
