I received the following message from Rodney Riley of NDBC:
"NDBC is surplusing old Hippy sensors from its inventory. We don’t use these operationally and there are no projects scheduled to use them.
Do you all know of any organization that could use these? If so, please get me contact information and I’ll relay that to the appropriate personnel at NDBC. If there are no takers, these will be surplused.
Several of them need repair. I think back in 2017 there were two or three that were in great shape and calibrated at Datawell. We have not tested any of them lately."
