Hello, COWCliP’ers! 
We’re excited to announce that we will be holding a COWCliP community meeting on the morning of Saturday, September 27, following the 4th International Workshop on Waves, Storm Surges, and Coastal Hazards in Santander, Spain. 
What’s on the agenda?
This meeting will be a great opportunity to:
Discuss outcomes from the latest Phase 3 COWCliP analysis (led by Hector Lobeto & Gil Lemos)
Review lessons learned and improve coordination efforts
Identify key research challenges, aligning with IPCC priorities for AR7 
Explore options for COWCliP presence (Representation, Website, etc.)
Coordinate funding opportunities and future collaborations 
Define next steps for the community

The 4th International Workshop on Waves, Storm Surges, and Coastal Hazards will include dedicated sessions on wave and storm surge climate. The call for abstracts closes on March 21, 2025—don’t miss the deadline!
